This Weekend
Treetop Adventures on Lake Hickory is officially opening tomorrow from 10am - 5pm. We will also be open on Sundays
from 1 - 5 pm.
Our staff and students have been working diligently this week to prepare the grounds and clean up the gift shop for our Treetop guests.
We are excited about this new season of adventure. Our staff and students are ready to serve with excellence and care!
Clay Shoot
Meadow Wood Farms
We are less than a month away from our annual clay shoot at Meadow Wood Farms.
Rally a team of friends and experience the challenges of competitive clay shooting.
Rifles and clays are provided. Just bring your enthusiasm & competitive spirit!
It'll be a great day of fun, food and lots of fresh air, not to mention amazing prizes and fellowship!
A Great Week
Leadership Training
This week our staff & interns attended leadership workshops with Redwoods' Consultant, Karissa Corpeny.
It was an amazing week of learning, growing and developing our team and personal leadership styles. Understanding one another and leaning into our God-given strengths and temperaments was very enlightening!
Our interns had already started their personal leadership training with Karissa through zoom meetings last week, so it was great for them to see her face-to-face.
We are thankful for the training we are receiving as NCBA continues to grow and serve others.
Easter Festivities
A Hunting We Will Go
What a lovely Easter weekend we had. We were able to attend Christ Alive Church and enjoy a delicious meal together with our NCBA family and friends.
BBQ steak and chicken were on the menu, along with summer favorites of potato salad, watermelon and corn on the cob.
Prior to the evening meal, NCBA held its annual Easter egg hunt. This was no ordinary hunt for kids! A color-coded count of hidden eggs along with various treasures (such as punching balloons and water guns) were to be found. It was a tedious 2-hour search which ended in prizes and lots of candy.
Throughout the weekend, we celebrated the resurrected life of Christ and the gift that He has offered to us.
We love our community life and the joy that it brings!
Save The Date
May 21 & 22
Dr. Lew Sterrett will be back with us on May 21 & 22 at Rising Hope Farms in Claremont.
Our students and their families were able to attend his workshops last year and it was such a blessing.
